Payment timing depends on the contract type and your chosen withdrawal method.
When Funds Become Available
- Fixed-Price: After client approves the milestone (up to 14 days if no response)
- Hourly: Weekly billing cycle, processed after client review period
Security Hold
New freelancers may have a security hold period of up to 5 days before first withdrawal.
Withdrawal Processing
- PayPal: Within 24-48 hours
- Bank Transfer: 3-5 business days
- Wire Transfer: 5-7 business days
Weekends and holidays may extend processing times.
