User Agreement

This User Agreement governs your use of MyFreelancer ("the Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform. By creating an account, you represent that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. For Clients (Buyers)

• You may post jobs describing work to be done and your budget
• You are responsible for the accuracy of job postings
• Payment is held in escrow until work is approved
• You agree to pay for completed work that meets the agreed specifications
• Disputes should be raised within 3 days of work delivery

4. For Freelancers (Sellers)

• You may submit proposals for posted jobs
• You must deliver work that meets the agreed specifications
• Payments are released after client approval
• Platform fees apply to all completed transactions
• You are an independent contractor, not an employee of MyFreelancer

5. Fees and Payments

MyFreelancer charges a service fee on each transaction. Fee details are available on our Fees page. Payments are processed through secure payment gateways.

6. Prohibited Activities

• Circumventing the platform to transact directly with other users
• Creating fake profiles or reviews
• Spamming other users
• Posting illegal, harmful, or misleading content
• Sharing account credentials with others

7. Dispute Resolution

In case of a dispute between a client and freelancer, both parties should first attempt to resolve it through direct communication. If unresolved, either party may escalate to MyFreelancer's dispute resolution team. Our decision in disputes is final.

8. Termination

MyFreelancer reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this agreement or engage in fraudulent activity. You may close your account at any time, subject to any pending transactions.

9. Limitation of Liability

MyFreelancer is not responsible for the quality of work delivered by freelancers or the accuracy of job postings. Our liability is limited to the fees collected on any given transaction.

10. Changes to Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this agreement at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
